Zach Malecki has been a member of the Northwestern University Sports Medicine Department since 2020. He is responsible for managing the healthcare of Northwestern football student-athletes.
Malecki is a graduate of Brockport State University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. As a graduate assistant at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York, he managed student-athlete healthcare for the baseball program. Malecki has made additional stops at Northern Kentucky University and Butler University, providing sports medicine services for men’s basketball and baseball programs, respectively. He was an athletic training intern with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns during the 2013 season. He also holds a certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Malecki resides in Skokie with his fiancé, Kelsey.
