Veronica Farmer was hired as the Assistant Director of Compliance in August 2015. Prior to coming to Northwestern, Farmer was the Coordinator of Compliance and Student Services at Illinois State University.
As the Assistant Director of Compliance, Farmer is responsible for recruiting logs, camps and clinics, initial eligibility and assisting student-athletes and coaches with completing necessary NCAA and Big Ten forms.
Farmer earned her Master’s degree in sport management from Illinois State University in May 2015. She started as the Graduate Assistant in Compliance at ISU, and was promoted in September 2014 as the Coordinator of Compliance and Student Services.
A native of Powder Springs, Ga., Farmer graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University in Sport Management in 2012. She also played on the tennis team all four years and was an active member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Farmer currently resides in Bucktown with her husband Nathan.
