Seth Wickert joined Northwestern Athletics in August of 2021 as the Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations. In his role, he oversees the day-to-day operations for Ryan Fieldhouse and Patten Gymnasium. He also serves as the primary facility manager for football, men’s and women's golf and women’s fencing.
Prior to Northwestern, Wickert served as the Director of Facilities and Equipment Operations at Western Illinois University from 2018 to 2021. He managed and coordinated the operations for six different athletic facilities including oversight, maintenance, scheduling, capital projects and upgrades. Additionally, he managed all equipment room policies and procedures, and assisted with coordinating game day operations for football, men’s and women's basketball, volleyball and other assigned athletic events.
A native of Macomb, Ill., Wickert graduated from Eureka College with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and was a member of the men's basketball program. He received his master's degree in Sport Management from Western Illinois University, and served as a Graduate Assistant for Facilities, Events and Game Day Operations.
