Sarah Holmes joined Northwestern Athletics in July 2015 as Assistant Director of Ticket Operations and was elevated to Director of Ticket Operations in May of 2017. She oversees day-to-day ticket operations, including ticket sales, distribution and renewals. This is her second stint as a Wildcat after serving as a ticket operations intern for the 2012-13 season.
Holmes previously worked in the Athletic Ticket Office at Old Dominion University and the Ted Constant Convocation Center as an Assistant Director for Athletic Ticketing for seven ticketed sports. She started as an intern and graduate assistant in the Athletic Ticket Office and student assistant in Sports Marketing at East Carolina University in North Carolina from 2008-12, where she obtained her master’s in business administration with a certificate in sports management. She also previously worked as an event assistant in charge of tickets at the inaugural Winston-Salem Open in 2011, where she oversaw all ticketing operations and sales. She has worked and volunteered in various capacities at numerous athletic events, including several professional tennis tournaments.
A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Holmes earned her undergraduate degree in mathematics with a minor in business from Elon University in North Carolina. She resides in Evanston.
