Ryann Green joined Northwestern Athletics as an Assistant Director of Business Operations in January 2018. He is responsible for providing day-to-day oversight of administrative and operational functions for institutional athletic camps and clinics for the Wildcats' 19 varsity teams. His responsibility includes monitoring compliance with the NCAA, Big Ten, and institutional rules in the areas of camps, clinics, local sports clubs and off-campus recruiting.
Prior to joining Northwestern, Green worked at his alma mater, Georgia State University, for two years as a business affairs coordinator where he worked with coaches, department administrators, and personnel to ensure prompt payment of purchase order requests, vendor contracted services payments, reimbursements, as well as other accounting transactions.
Green earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration-finance and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sports administration from Georgia State University. As a student-athlete, he played for the Georgia State Panthers men’s basketball team, earning letter awards for four years. He was voted as one of three team captains his senior year for the 2014-15 Panthers team that went on to compete in the NCAA tournament. Green’s hard work paid off as a walk-on, and was awarded a scholarship on the team his senior year. He was named one of 30 national finalists for the 2015 Senior CLASS award.
Green is originally from Irvine, California, and is the son of April Arceneaux and Roger Green. He has one sister, Crystal Nickerson, and a nephew, Ethan.
