Marcia Howlett supports Northwestern's Sports Medicine team and handles the day-to-day operations of the department, including special projects, travel arrangements, maintaining student athlete files and scheduling appointments with the medical team,  ordering supplies, and staff meeting arrangements. 

Howlett has an extensive background in procurement. Prior to Northwestern, she has worked for Kraft Foods, Walgreens and Novartis Gene Therapies. 

Howlett has a master's degree in Communication from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s in Management from the University of Phoenix.
