Lydia Wright has been a member of the Northwestern University Sports Medicine Department since March of 2021. She is responsible for managing the health care of the football team.
Wright is a graduate of Clemson University where she earned her bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Nutrition, with a minor in Athletic Leadership. She received her master's degree in Athletic Training from the University of Tennessee- Chattanooga. Wright worked with the football and women's gymnastics teams at the University of Maryland for six years before coming to NU.
Wright is interested in a range of manual therapy techniques, movement screening and predictive injury modeling, and preventative functional rehabilitation. She holds certifications in:
