Dr. Keaton Muzika has been a member of the Northwestern University Sport Psychology Services team since 2019. She provides mental health and mental performance services for Northwestern University varsity student-athletes. Dr. Muzika serves as the primary sport psychologist for football, lacrosse, softball, women’s soccer, and women’s tennis.
 
Prior to her role at Northwestern, Dr. Muzika worked with the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) in developing, implementing, and facilitating a program aimed at supporting Olympic and Paralympic athletes during sport retirement. She completed her doctoral internship (2018) and postdoctoral fellowship (2019) at Northwestern University Counseling and Psychological Services. Before obtaining her doctoral degree, Dr. Muzika earned her master’s degree in social work from Columbia University and worked in school-based health centers, community health centers, and university counseling centers.
 
Dr. Muzika played NCAA Division I ice hockey at Brown University and was on the U22 US National Women’s Ice Hockey team.
 
Dr. Muzika is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Illinois.
