John Michael Hayes joined Northwestern Athletics in October of 2022 as Senior Premium Sales Manager. Alongside his colleagues, Hayes will focus his efforts on tickets sales, primarily premium seating for existing and new season ticket packages as well as assisting in overall revenue generation for the Athletics Department and the new Ryan Field Project.
Hayes joins the Wildcats from San Diego State University, where he assisted in the premium seating sales efforts for the Aztecs, working closely with the Aztec Club and Campanile Foundation to help build and fund the new Snapdragon Football Stadium from February 2020 to October 2022. Hayes was responsible for $2M in revenue generated in just 18 months as a Premium Sales Consultant for SDSU and exceeded personal and team goals and expectations.
Prior to his time at SDSU, Hayes held the title of Senior Inside Sales Representative for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hayes led his inside sales class of nine reps in total annual revenue generated for the Jaguars during the 2019 football season.
Born and raised in the sunshine state of Florida, Hayes graduated from Nova Southeastern University as a four-year scholar athlete with a degree in Sports and Recreation Management.
