Erin Wagner joined Northwestern Athletics in February 2019 as program assistant for the Wildcat Fund.
Prior to arriving in Evanston, Wagner worked as a graduate assistant in the Tyee Club at the University of Washington, where she assisted the annual fund team in processing football season ticket renewals, team support contributions, and provided stewardship and special event support. She also helped coordinate projects and special events related to the letterwinner society, the Big W Club of Washington Athletics.
As a student-athlete, Wagner competed in varsity cross country and track and field for the University of Wisconsin. She represented the Badgers in the 2018 Big Ten Championships in the 3000 steeplechase, and the 5000 meters. She was honored as a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in 2017-18 and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2016-17 and 2017-18 while competing for both sports. She also served as the president of two student-organizations, Student-Athletes Equally Supporting Others (SAESO) and Student Affairs Mentoring (SAM), and was the women’s cross country representative on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Wagner obtained a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Wisconsin in May 2018. She completed her master’s degree through the University of Washington’s Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership program in June 2019.
Wagner is from Crystal Lake, Illinois.
