Amit Mallik joined the Northwestern athletic communications staff in August of 2019. He is currently the media relations contact for women's basketball, women's soccer, men's soccer, women's tennis and men's tennis.
Prior to his current role, Mallik spent four years as a student assistant in the athletic communications department. He previously served as the primary contact for women's soccer, field hockey, softball, and fencing.
The Lansdale, Pa., native graduated Northwestern in 2019 with Bachelor's of Science in journalism from the Medill School and is pursuing a Master's of Science in data science from Northwestern. In addition to assisting the department as an undergraduate, Mallik also was a member of WNUR Sports, where he called games on the radio for nine different varsity sports at Northwestern.
