Dr. Alysia Green joined Northwestern in 2024. She is
the Medical Director of Student Health Services and manages the care of Women's Volleyball and Women's
Lacrosse.
Alysia is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where
she earned a BS in Biology. She received her Doctor of
Medicine (MD) from Wayne State University in Detroit,
and completed her Family Medicine Residency at
University Hospitals of Cleveland. Following residency,
she did a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at
Michigan State University.
She has served as a team physician for USA
Gymnastics and was part of the United States Olympic
and Paralympic Committee medical staff at the
PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
Alysia came to Northwestern after spending 16 years as
a team physician at Boston University.
Alysia is originally from East Lansing, MI and currently
resides in the West Loop. She enjoys spending time
with family and friends, traveling, and is a big foodie!
