• Placed first in the 100 L fly with a PB of 54.15 and third in the 200 L free with a PB of 1:51.28 at the Time Trials of the USA Swimming Olympic Team Trials
• Won the 400 L free with a PB of 3:55.95, the 100 L fly (54.40) and the 200 L fly (2:01.06) at the Illinois Senior Summer Championships
• Won the 200-yard free (1:37.35) and 300-yard IM (2:52.63), placed second in the 200-yard breast (2:01.62) against Miami-Ohio
• Won the 200-yard fly (1:46.86), placed second in the 200-yard IM (1:48.47) and third in the 100-yard free (45.52) versus Cincinnati
• Won the 200-yard free (1:38.04), 200-yard fly (1:47.51) and 400-yard IM (3:51.13) against Duke
