• Finished 22nd in the 200 L back prelims (1:58.79) at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games
• Won the 200-yard back with a 1:44.30 and placed third in the 50-yard free (20.55) against Miami-Ohio
• Placed second in the 100-yard back (47.86) and 200-yard back (1:45.97) versus Cincinnati
• Won the 200-yard with a 1:44.84, placed second in the 100-yard back (47.60) and fifth in the 50-yard free (20.63) against Duke
• Finished 13th in the 100-yard back (47.75) and 200-yard back (1:44.34) at the Wolfpack Elite Invitational
• Placed second in the 50-yard free with a 20.63, swam a PB of 44.81 in the 100-yard leadoff of the 400-yard free relay versus Southern Indiana
• Won the 200-yard back, swimming a 1:42.61, placed third in the 100-yard back (46.74) against Penn State and UChicago
• Won the 200-yard back (1:42.40) and placed second in the 100-yard back (47.00), swam a PB of 46.50 in the 100-yard leadoff of the 400-yard back relay versus Wisconsin

• At the NCAA Men's Championships, participated in five events. In the 400 Free Relay, his split in his 100 Free was 42.91, placing 24^th. In the leadoff spot in the 200 Medley Relay, he swam a 50 Back time of 21.24, with the relay team placing 21^st.
  In the 100 Back, his time of 45.73, landed him 29^th. In the 400 Medley Relay, his 100 Back time of 46.11, swimming leadoff, saw the team finish 24^th. In the 200 Back (1:42.20), Gerchik finished 33^rd.
• Won the 200 L back with a 2:10.34 at the NASA Spring Blast Off
• At the Mel Zajac Jr. International in Vancouver, Gerchik finished third in the 50 L Back (25.84), fourth in the 200 L Back (2:03.52) and fith in the 100 L Back (56.92) (May 16-18, 2025)

AS A FIRST-YEAR (2024-2025):

• Placed third in the 200-yard back (1:50.57) and fifth in the 100-yard back (50.18) against Cincinnati
• Won the 100-yard back with a PB of 48.25 and the 200-yard back with a PB of 1:45.67 versus Miami
• Won the 100-yard back with a PB of 48.21 against Miami and SIU
• Won the 200-yard back with a PB of 1:41.92 and placed second in the 100-yard back with a PB of 46.73, swam PBs in the 50-yard free (20.30) and the 50-yard leadoff of the 200-yard back relay (21.79) at the Purdue Invitational
• Won the 50-yard free (20.75) and the 200-yard back (1:44.83) versus UChicago
• Won the 100-yard back (47.32) and the 200-yard back (1:43.29) against Wisconsin
• Won the 200-yard back with a 1:43.89 and placed second in the 100-yard back (47.50) versus Iowa, Minnesota and Purdue
