December's matchup will serve as a homecoming for Northwestern head coach Joe McKeown.  Set to begin his 18th and final season on the sidelines in Evanston, McKeown spent 19 seasons in the nation's capital, where he still ranks as George Washington's all-time winningest coach with 441 victories.  The five-time Atlantic 10 Conference Coach of the Year honoree led the Revolutionaries to 14 conference titles en route to posting a 441-154 (.741) overall record and a sparkling 250-52 (.828) mark in league action.

A 2012 inductee into the George Washington Athletics Hall of Fame, McKeown piloted the Revolutionaries to 15 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, a total that includes four trips to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and an NCAA Elite Eight berth during the 1996-97 season.

Northwestern and George Washington have met just once previously, a 61-46 victory for the Revolutionaries in the First Round of the 1997 NCAA Tournament.

Northwestern's 2025-26 schedule will be announced at a later date.  Fans can secure their spot inside Welsh-Ryan Arena by placing a $25 deposit for season tickets and will be contacted by a member of the Northwestern Ticket Office once season tickets are available.
