'Cats Fall in Regular Season Finale at No. 14 UCLA

LOS ANGELES – Northwestern concluded its 2025 regular season with a 11-1 loss at No. 14 UCLA on Saturday afternoon.

SS Ryan Kucherak gave Northwestern (25-27, 13-17 Big Ten) the lead with a solo homer to left-center, his 18th of the season, most in NU single-season history and most in Big Ten play this season.

UCLA (39-15, 22-8 Big Ten) plated a pair in the bottom of the first, added four in the fourth, one in the fifth, three in the sixth, and walked it off with a run in the bottom of the seventh.

LHP Blake MacMillan (5-3) is credited with the loss, allowing seven runs on eight hits in 4.0 innings pitched.
