INDIANAPOLIS – The Northwestern men's basketball team has announced its latest non-conference opponent in their 2025-26 schedule, traveling to play Butler on Saturday, Dec. 20 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. as part of the Indy Classic. Tip-time and broadcast info will be announced at a later date.
This season's matchup marks the 29th all-time meeting between the Wildcats and the Bulldogs, with Northwestern leading the series, 16-12. The teams met last season in the Arizona Tip-Off in Tempe, where Brooks Barnhizer led all scorers with 24 points in a narrow 71-69 defeat on Nov. 28, 2024.
