EVANSTON, Ill. - USA Lacrosse announced its 2025 Division I Women's Preseason All-Americans on Wednesday, with Northwestern earning five selections. Preseason No. 2 Northwestern is one of four teams with multiple players named to the First Team, alongside Boston College, Michigan, and Yale.
Miles tallied 135 goals, 61 assists, 196 points, 47 ground balls, 45 caused turnovers, and 172 draw controls over her four-year career at Penn. Additionally, she set the program's single-season goals record with 63 in 2023.
Sweitzer earned IWLCA and ACC Goalkeeper of the Year honors in 2023 and was a finalist for the Honda Sports Award. She begins her Northwestern career with 352 total saves.

Madison Taylor and Sammy White were named to the First Team. Samantha Smith earned Third Team honors, while Niki Miles, a graduate transfer attacker from Penn, and Delaney Sweitzer, a graduate transfer goalkeeper from Syracuse, were selected as Honorable Mentions.
