No. 17 Ohio State Rallies past Wildcats, 2-1

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Northwestern fell just short at No. 17 Ohio State 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium.

Northwestern's record drops to 5-5-1 overall and 0-3-0 in conference play.

Northwestern opened the scoring when Emma Phillips notched her first goal of the season in the 48th minute, assisted by Josie Aulicino. Aulicino's assist marked the 31st of her career, tied for the most in program history.

The Buckeyes responded to tie things up on a goal from Amanda Schlueter in the 85th minute. With less than a minute left in regulation, OSU grabbed a 2-1 lead on Ava Bramblett's 90th-minute goal, assisted by Kailyn Dudukovich.
