How it Happened
Both sides played even for the first 45 minutes, with neither team able to find the back of the net. PSU held a 6-5 advantage in shots over the game's first half. Early in the second half, the Nittany Lions broke through, with Kaitlyn MacBean scoring her 10th goal of the season to give PSU the lead. Despite a late flurry from the Wildcats, NU was unable to equalize, falling 1-0.
