EVANSTON, Ill. - Tim Nollan rounded out his staff with the additions of Sally Deng and Zana Gradan, the program announced Wednesday. Deng will fill the role of Volleyball Video and Analytics Coordinator and Gradan will serve as Director of Volleyball Operations.
"I am very excited to fill out our staff with the addition of Zana as our Director of Operations and Sally as our Analytics Coordinator," Nollan said on the hires. "They will help us serve our student-athletes at the highest level and help provide a world class athletic experience."
A native of Thousand Oaks, Calif., Deng joins Northwestern volleyball from Santa Monica College, where she spent time as the men's volleyball videographer. Before making the shift to collegiate athletics, Deng coached high school girls' and boys' volleyball while teaching secondary math in Los Angeles.
Gradan, an Evanston local, brings a diverse background and a passion for social media and community engagement to her new role as director of operations. Her previous experience spanned several industries, from fashion and beauty to sports and fitness.
