EVANSTON, Ill. - Men's Tennis will open Big Ten Tournament play on Thursday afternoon in Evanston. The seven-seeded 'Cats will take on the ten-seed Wisconsin Badgers at 2 p.m. CT at either Combe Tennis Center or Vandy Christie Center, pending weather.
Northwestern earned the seventh seed with a 3-6 conference record, contributing to a 9-16 overall mark this regular season. Wisconsin finished 10th with an 0-9 mark in the Big Ten (1-21 overall). They'll enter tournament play on a 13-match losing streak.
Northwestern and Wisconsin previously met this regular season on April 5, with Northwestern winning 5-2. That win extended the 'Cats' win streak to six straight over the Badgers.
