Ty Berry Announces Return to Northwestern for 2024-25

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern guard Ty Berry announced his return to the Northwestern men's basketball team for the 2024-25 season on Tuesday evening. Berry is utilizing his fifth year of eligibility after averaging 11.6 points per game over 23 games in 2023-24.
 

Berry posted the best numbers of his career last season before missing the final 11 games of the season due to injury. The 6-3 guard shot 43.3% from 3-point distance, going 55-of-127 from behind the arc, while averaging 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Berry scored 20 or more points in four games this season, scoring a career-high 25 points against No. 1 Purdue. When Berry scored 10 or more points, Northwestern was 11-3. Throughout his career, Berry has posted career numbers of 897 points, 182 3-pointers, 123 assists and 117 steals while playing in 110 games and making 74 starts.
 
The Newton, Kan. product has been part of the winningest stretch in program history the last two seasons, as the Wildcats reached back-to-back NCAA Tournaments for the first time in school history.
