Northwestern Travels to Happy Valley for Three-Game Set at Penn State

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern will hit the road for its first Big Ten road trip to face Penn State. All three games this weekend will be streamed on B1G+.

Nebraska Recap
In its Big Ten opening series, Northwestern dropped three tight contests (5-2, 9-5, 8-7) against No. 24 Nebraska. In the series opener, Nolan Morr allowed two runs on four hits in 5.0 IP, earning the no-decision in a 5-2 loss. In two appearances against the Huskers, Amar Tsengeg allowed one run on two hits in 4.0 IP. Owen McElfatrick hit .538 (7-for-13) with a double and two HRs, driving in three runs and scoring six runs on the weekend. Against the Huskers, Jackson Freeman hit .500 (5-for-10), driving in seven and scoring three runs. On Sunday 3/31, Freeman went 2-for-4 with two HRs and five RBI.
