EVANSTON, Ill. – Boo Buie has been named as one of five Oscar Robertson National Players of the Week, the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) announced on Tuesday.
Against the Boilermakers, became the first high-major player in the country to post 31-plus points, nine-plus assists, and zero turnovers in a game since at least 2010.
Earlier in the week, Buie recorded 23 points, seven assists, two rebounds, and one steal in an 89-67 win over Northern Illinois.
On Monday, Buie was named Big Ten player of the Week for the third time in his career
