EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern fell 1-0 to Michigan in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinal at Martin Stadium on Friday night.

The Wildcats fell to 10-4-3 overall after the defeat.

How it Happened

The Wildcats outshot Michigan 16-6, but both sides were unable to find the back of the net until Michigan broke the deadlock in the 72nd minute. The Wildcats put several quality chances on frame, but Isaiah Goldson was able to keep them off the scoresheet, tallying four saves.
