EVANSTON, Ill. - The Wildcats are set to hit the trails in Peoria, Illinois on Friday afternoon as cross country prepares to run their third 6k of the season at the Bradley Pink Classic. The Women's Red Race is set for 2:15 p.m and the Red Race set for 3:45 p.m.
Northwestern enters this race as returning champions, having finished first as a team in the 2022 Women's Red Race. The 'Cats placed five runners in the top 20 last October and will look to repeat this season with ten new athletes.
Included in the field will be Erin Boler, Emily Casaclang, Jackie Holman, and Maddy Powers - all run fresh off personal bests in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational.
After Friday, the 'Cats return on October 27th for their first meet of the postseason: the Big Ten Championships in Madison, Wisconsin.
