EVANSTON, Ill. – After collecting two wins against local foes, a pair of Northwestern men's soccer Seniors took home weekly honors. Justin Weiss was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, while Rom Brown was selected to College Soccer News Men's National Team of the Week.
Weiss earns the honor after a spectacular week, tallying three goals and two assists across two games. On Friday night, Weiss notched an assist on Rom Brown's 90th minute game-winning goal in a 2-1 thriller over NIU.
For an encore, Weiss followed that up with a 7-point outing against UIC, including the first hat trick by a Wildcat since Camden Buescher did so in 2018. Weiss contributed on all four NU goals in a 4-1 win over UIC.

Off to its best start since 2008, Northwestern closes out its three-match homestand with a Friday night contest against UC Riverside at 7 p.m. CT on B1G+.
