'Cats Cap 5-0 Road Trip With Win Over No. 20 UMass

ORONO, Maine - No. 3 Northwestern secured a perfect 5-0 road trip on Saturday, wrapping up the week with a 3-0 shutout of No. 20 UMass in Orono, Maine.

Saturday's game was the third straight shutout for the 'Cats, who have allowed just three goals in six games so far this season. After blanking the Minutewomen, Annabel Skubisz and the 'Cats have gone 15 straight quarters without allowing a score, dating back to last Sunday's game against Duke.

On offense, Northwestern was led by captain Peyton Halsey, who collected her third and fourth goals of the season on a pair of penalty strokes. The first score came in the second quarter, giving the Wildcats a 1-0 lead, and the second capped off the 'Cats' scoring in the fourth.
