ROSEMONT, Ill. – Northwestern women's soccer was picked to finish second in the 2023 Big Ten Women's Soccer Preseason Poll, the conference announced on Tuesday.

Additionally, the Big Ten named Josie Aulicino, Meg Boade, and Caterina Regazzoni to the 2023 Big Ten Women's Soccer Players to Watch List.
 
A two-time All-Big Ten honoree, Josie Aulicino ranks second in program history with 21 assists. Aulicino led the team with nine goals and 10 assists in 2022. Aulicino was named to the 2022 Big Ten Women's Soccer Players to Watch List.
 
A First Team All-Big Ten recipient in 2022, Meg Boade earns Players to Watch recognition for the second-consecutive year. Boade tallied seven goals in 2022, with five of them coming in Big Ten play.
 
Caterina Regazzoni looks to build on a stellar breakout campaign that saw her earn Big Ten Freshman of the Year honors. The Switzerland native notched three goals and three assists in her rookie campaign.
 
Northwestern kicks off the season on Thursday, August 17 at 7 p.m. CT at Marquette.
