CHICAGO– Northwestern baseball will make its return to Wrigley Field this spring when it hosts Notre Dame at the Friendly Confines on May 16, 2023.
The game will be Northwestern's second-ever baseball game at Wrigley Field as part of a partnership with the Chicago Cubs. The Wildcats last played at Wrigley Field on April 20, 2013, blanking the Michigan Wolverines 6-0 behind a complete game shutout from Luke Farrell.
The 'Cats have also played lacrosse and football at the iconic ballpark. Northwestern football will host the Iowa Hawkeyes at the Friendly Confines on November 4, 2023.
