No. 2 Wildcats End Road Trip with 21-11 Win Over UAlbany

EVANSTON, Ill. — The No. 2 Northwestern Wildcats ended their road trip to the East Coast with a 21-11 win over UAlbany, extending their win streak to 12 games. 

Northwestern (13-1) showcased their depth against the Great Danes, with four 'Cats scoring four goals: Dylan Amonte, Hailey Rhatigan, Izzy Scane and Madison Taylor. Scane also added three assists for a game-high seven points.

Elle Hansen was the last Wildcat to post a multiple goal performance, with two goals and an assist on the stats sheet. Erin Coykendall also added a tally to the scoreboard in addition to her game high four assists. Eve Hritzuk and Samantha Smith also added a goal apiece.

Maddy Taylor, Elle Hansen and Dylan Amonte power a 3-0 run and UAlbany calls time.

They currently lead the 'Cats with two goals apiece.

Smith once again led the 'Cats inside the draw circle, pulling down seven draws. Taylor added five more, allowing Northwestern to beat UAlbany in the circle 19-17.

Kendall Halpern led the Wildcat defense, tallying game-highs in ground balls with five and caused turnovers with three. Carleigh Mahoney followed with three ground balls and one caused turnover.
