RUSTON, LA -- Owen McElfatrick collected three extra base hits, but the Northwestern Wildcats fell to the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs 14-5 on Friday.

The Wildcats pushed across two runs in the frame, the big hit being an RBI double from Owen McElfatrick, tightening the Louisiana Tech lead to 14-5. The ballgame ended with that ninth inning rally falling short.
