INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Four members of the Northwestern football program have been invited to participate in the 2023 NFL Combine this week: defensive lineman Adetomiwa Adebawore, defensive back Cameron Mitchell, running back Evan Hull and offensive lineman Peter Skoronski.

Adetomiwa Adebawore

Adebawore, a Third Team All-Big Ten selection, concluded his Northwestern career with a dominant season, registering 31 pressures and 27 run stops (third most among B1G edge rushers), per Pro Football Focus. His 5.0 sacks, 9.0 tackles for loss, and 38 total tackles all set new career-highs this season and led to his second-consecutive All-Big Ten recognition. Adebawore recorded 12.5 sacks and 24.5 tackles for loss in 36 games for the Wildcats. The Kansas City native was invited to the Senior Bowl, where he was named the National team's DL Practice Player of the Week by his peers.

Mitchell, a two-time All-Big Ten honorable mention selection, led Northwestern with nine pass breakups this season. Mitchell broke his previous career-highs in nearly every category this season, tallying 52 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and his first solo sack. He was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after recording six tackles, two pass breakups, and an interception in the 'Cats win over Nebraska in Ireland. The Bollingbrook, Ill. native tallied 119 tackles, 22 passes defended, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 35 career games at Northwestern.

Evan Hull

Hull earned the second All-Big Ten recognition of his career after becoming the 16th player since 2000 to average over 75 rushing yards and 45 receiving yards a game over an entire season, most recently done by Travis Etienne and Saquon Barkley. Hull led all FBS running backs with 54 receptions and was second among all Big Ten receivers with 483 yards after the catch this season. Hull tallied 2,417 rushing yards, 851 receiving yards, 22 total touchdowns, and 11 100+ yard rushing games in his four-year career at Northwestern. Hull's 213 receiving yards against Duke this season is the second highest single-game total in program history.

Peter Skoronski

Skoronski, a three year starter at left tackle, is one of the most decorated players in Northwestern history. This past season, he became the first unanimous First Team All-American in program history and 15th consensus All-American. He also became the first Wildcat to be named Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year by the Big Ten. A projected first round pick in the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, Skoronski was graded as the top pass-protector in the country by Pro Football Focus, with a 93.0 pass blocking grade after allowing only six pressures on 480 pass-blocking snaps. According to PFF, it marks the best single-season pass-blocking grade recorded over the last two years. The Park Ridge, Illinois native's 79.1 run-blocking grade also ranks 5th among all qualifying Power 5 tackles.
