Northwestern Basketball Earns No. 21 Ranking in AP Poll

EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern men's basketball team has been ranked No. 21 in the Associated Press Top 25 poll that was released on Feb. 20, 2023 (Week 15). The Wildcats had been receiving votes for three consecutive weeks.
 
The 'Cats are ranked for the first time since garnering a No. 19 ranking during the 2020-21 season. The Week 15 ranking is the latest Northwestern has been ranked in any season.

Northwestern is 20-7 overall and sit in second place of the Big Ten Conference standings with an 11-5 league record. The team's 11 league wins are the school's most in conference play since 1930-31 (11 wins).
 
Northwestern returns to floor at 8 p.m. CT on Thursday, Feb. 23 at Illinois.
