EVANSTON, Ill. - Ten Northwestern fencers will travel to Salt Lake City, Utah this weekend to compete at USA Fencing's December North American Cup (NAC). A national competition that is part of the circuit to qualify to represent Team US, the Wildcats will compete in both Junior (under-20 age category) events and Division I (senior) events.
Competing for the 'Cats are foilists Rowan Park, Anna Biasco, Yejine Lee, Samantha Serban, Allison Lee, and Juliana Hung; epeeists Anna Damratoski, Lia Douglas, and Karen Wang; and sabrist Kailing Sathyanath.
In addition, sabrist Sky Miller will take to the strip in in Orleans, France, representing Team USA in a Senior Grand Prix event.
The Wildcats will take a month off from competition and travel to Louisville, Ky. for the January NAC, beginning on Friday, Jan. 6.
