The Wildcats are 7-4 and coming off a 2-0 start to Big Ten play after wins against Wisconsin and Minnesota at home this weekend. The Blue Devils are 10-1 with ranked wins over Ohio State, Princeton and Virginia and a ranked loss to Oklahoma.
Wednesday will feature the return to Durham for two Wildcats - graduate Ema Lazic and assistant coach Ellyse Hamlin. Lazic competed from 2017 to 2021 at Duke while Hamlin competed from 2015 to 2019.
The 'Cats competed against Duke in the fall Wildcat Invite in Evanston with the pairs of Sydney Pratt and Maria Shusharina and Ema Lazic and Justine Leong facing the Blue Devils in two mini duals. Lazic and Pratt picked up wins over Eliza Omirou, while Shusharina defeated Margaryta Bilokin.
The Blue Devils have three singles players in the ITA rankings and two ranked doubles duos as well.
The two programs last faced off in 2018.
