Evanston, IL - Northwestern continues their first home-stand of the season with a three-game series against Evansville, beginning on Saturday at 2pm. In their first appearance at Rocky & Berenice Miller Park, the Wildcats swept St. Thomas in a doubleheader last Sunday.
The Wildcats will conclude the Evansville series with a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon, beginning at 11am.
First-year Sean Sullivan will toe the rubber for Northwestern in the first game of the series. With a 1.71 ERA through the first four starts of his college career, Sullivan has won two Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors and a Big Ten Pitcher of the Week award after impressive outings against Santa Clara and St. Thomas.
He threw a complete-game, 11-strikeout shutout of the Tommies in a 9-0 win on Opening Day for the Wildcats.
Ethan O'Donnell continues to build on his Big Ten All-Freshman Team season in 2020, as he is hitting .298 to lead all Northwestern hitters into the weekend clash with the Purple Aces.
