PALM COAST, Fla. — Northwestern men's golf opened its spring campaign with a pair of wins at the 2022 Big Ten Match Play.

The Wildcats dropped a 3-2 decision to Iowa before ending the weekend with a 3-2 win over Penn State and a 3-1-1 victory over Wisconsin. Varun Chopra, David Nyfjall and Eric McIntosh each secured wins in the contest versus Penn State. Chopra, McIntosh and Cameron Adam notched wins over Wisconsin.
The Wildcats return to action on Feb. 21-23 at The Prestige in La Quinta, Calif.
