EVANSTON, Ill. — The annual preseason radio show with women's basketball head coach Joe McKeown and WNUR Sports returns Tuesday, Oct. 26 at Firehouse Grill (750 Chicago Ave, Evanston). The event begins at 6 p.m. with the radio show starting at 6:15 in Firehouse Grill's upstairs lounge.
The event is free and open to the public. Audio will also be broadcasted live on WNURSports.com. Come to hear McKeown speak on the much anticipated and rapidly approaching 2021-22 season with the Wildcats coming off a win in the NCAA Tournament last March.
Fire Up with Joe represents an important piece of the storied partnership between Northwestern women's basketball and WNUR Sports. WNUR is the flagship station for Wildcat women's hoops and will carry live broadcasts for every game this season worldwide on its website as well as on 89.3-F.M. in the Evanston-Chicago area.
