LINCOLN, Neb. - Northwestern fell to Nebraska on Saturday night in Lincoln, 56-7. The Wildcats' record now sits at 2-3 on the season.
 
Ryan Hilinski was efficient in his second start for Northwestern, completing 25 of 39 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown. Hilinski completed 64% of his passes without throwing an interception.
 
Stephon Robinson, Jr. turned in his best performance as a Wildcat, hauling in eight passes for 116 yards, including a 28-yard touchdown reception from Hilinski. Robinson's 116 receiving yards are the most by a Northwestern receiver since Flynn Nagel torched Nebraska for 220 yards on October 13, 2020. 
 
Sophomore linebacker Bryce Gallagher set a new career-high with 10 tackles, while Brandon Joseph's 10 tackles also tied his previous career-high.
 
As the Wildcats head into a bye-week, they will prepare to welcome Rutgers to Ryan Field on October 16th for homecoming weekend.
