EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern opened Martin Stadium in style on Monday afternoon with a 4-1 win over Kansas City thanks to a three-goal second half performance.
The Wildcats improved to 2-1-1 on the season and now have gone three games unbeaten with their second win in a row.
First year Paul Son stole the show with two goals on the counter attack, the first two goals of his career. Sophomore Justin Weiss also scored the first goal of his career with an assist from Son while Senior Bardia Kimiavi recorded an assist for his second game in a row with a point.
The 'Cats dropped the Roos to 0-3-1 on the season.
