EVANSTON, Ill. -- For the second consecutive season, two Northwestern golfers were awarded All-Big Ten nominations. John Driscoll III and David Nyfjäll both were awarded All-Big Ten Second Team honors.
Nyfjäll received All-Big Ten honors for his third straight season, following his Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2019 and his All-Big Ten First Team in 2020. Sophomore John Driscoll III received his first All-Big Ten honor of his career. Senior Eric McIntosh was named a Sportsmanship Award Honoree.
Nyfjäll, the Uppsala, Sweden native, finished his shortened junior season with two top-25 finishes and tied for sixth in the Spartan Intercollegiate.
Driscoll III finished his sophomore campaign with two top-five finishes at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate and the Boilermaker Invitational. The Edinburgh, Scotland native also carded an undefeated Big Ten Match Play to begin the season.
