Driscoll Ties for Second at Robert Kepler Intercollegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio. — The Wildcats tied for seventh at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate over the weekend, finishing tied for fifth amongst the 11 present Big Ten schools. The team wound up tied with Indiana at 20-over. John Driscoll led the way for the 'Cats claiming a share of the silver medal at one-under par. 

 

As a team Northwestern shot 286 in the opening round tied for the best in the field along with Kent State and Illinois. David Nyfjall started out hot, ending the first inning tied for third in the field, scoring even with par.

Northwestern will begin the postseason this weekend at the Big Ten Championships in Carmel, Indiana. The Championships will start on Friday and last until Sunday, May 2.
