STANFORD, Calif. — Northwestern men's golf claimed a Top-15 finish at The Goodwin, one of college golf's most prestigious events by tying for 13th (86/+24). Varun Chopra (T24) and Eric McIntosh (T46) earned Top-50 finishes by shooting +2 and +6 for the tournament, respectively.
As a team Northwestern shot 293 in the opening round, before posting a 10-stroke improvement (283) in round two and shooting a 288 in the final round. Chopra turned in a team-low round of 68 on day two of the competition.
