'Cats Fall to No. 4 Minnesota, 3-1

EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern dropped a Saturday night contest to No. 4 Minnesota, 3-1. The Wildcats fall to 3-5 on the season.
 
Northwestern started out strong, taking the first set 25-19. The Wildcats struggled to maintain their momentum, dropping the next three sets to lose the match.
 
Temi Thomas-Ailara led the attack for the 'Cats with 13 kills.
 
First-year Alexa Rousseau dished out 42 assists, the second most of her career.
 
The Wildcats return to the court next Friday, as they travel to College Park to take on Maryland.
