GRANVILLE, S.C. – Northwestern baseball split its double header Saturday afternoon, beginning with a 4-2 win in the opener, before dropping the night cap, 12-3.
Anthony Calarco and Ethan O'Donnell each tallied two hits in game one, while Calarco, Shawn Goosenberg, Leo Kaplan and O'Donnell each had a pair of knocks. Northwestern outhit, Michigan State, 8-5. In the opener, Quinn Lavellle earned the win after tossing five innings and fanning six, Garrett Boeckle picked up a save.
