EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern Wrestling continued its season on Saturday, falling to both Indiana and No. 4 Penn State in an afternoon double-header at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
#20 Yahya Thomas won both his matchups at 149 lbs. to improve his record to 5-0, while #16 Chris Cannon picked up another victory at 133 lbs., moving to 4-0 on the year.
#11 Lucas Davison picked up two more victories at 194 lbs. to move to 3-1 on the season, while Jack Jessen was victorious against Indiana at 184 lbs.
#8 Michael DeAugustino made his return to the mat against Indiana to grab his first win of the season (125 lbs.).
The 'Cats return to competition next Sunday, Feb. 7, as they welcome Illinois to Welsh-Ryan Arena.
