EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern senior guard Lindsey Pulliam has been named to the John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top-30 List. The list is comprised of 30 student-athletes who are the early front-runners for college basketball's most prestigious honor. National women's college basketball media members are responsible for the creation of this list.

Pulliam, who was chosen as the Preseason Big Ten Player of the Year in November, averaged 18.8 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game and 1.2 steals per game last season. She led the team in scoring, breaking double-digits in 26 of the 30 games last season, and finished with 30+ points on two of those occasions.

Through three years at Northwestern, Pulliam is already ranked 11th in career points at Northwestern at 1,637. She holds the 6th and 10th highest point totals recorded in a single season with 595 points in the 2018-19 campaign and 563 points last season.

Six conferences are represented on the list with the SEC boasting nine selections, followed by the Big 12 with five. Members of the Big Ten joining Pulliam are Rutgers' Ameryst Arella Guirantes, Michigan's Naz Hillmon, and Ali Patberg out of Indiana.

This years' presentation of the John R. Wooden Award will take place after the NCAA tournament during the Wooden Award Weekend in April.

Players not chosen to the preseason list are eligible for both the midseason list, late season list and the National Ballot. The National Ballot consists of 15 top players who have proven to their universities that they are also making progress toward graduation and maintaining a high cumulative 2.0 GPA. The Wooden Award All American Team, consisting of the nation's top five players, will be announced the week of the Elite Eight.
