EVANSTON, IL – Senior Dominik Stary and sophomore Steven Forman both earned All-Big Ten Honors, the conference announced Wednesday afternoon.
Stary earned his fourth consecutive first team all-conference honor after being named first-team All-Big Ten for the second consecutive year and earning second team honors as a first-year and sophomore.
In the 2020 season, the Pilsen native played #1 or #2 during dual match season and ranked as high as #70 nationally in singles play. He finished the season 11-8 and was the 2019 Big Ten Singles Championship runner up with notable wins against Notre Dame, Michigan and Vanderbilt.
In his first season as a Wildcat, Forman earns his first career all-conference honors after being selected second team All-Big Ten.
The sophomore played both #1 and #2 during the dual match season and was a semifinals at the 2019 Big Ten Singles Championship. He finished the 2020 season with a 14-7 record and had wins against Illinois, Harvard, Vanderbilt, Louisville and Memphis.
This marks the first time the Wildcats have had multiple athletes earn all-conference honors since the 2017 season when Strong Kircheimer and Konrad Zieba both earned honors.
